Getting to the roots of your work is crucial. Fresh eyes – unbiased and uncluttered eyes – eyes that are focused on every aspect of your work will benefit every writer, no matter what you are trying to get into print.
Whether it is a website, short story, book, brochure, or your query letter, true quality doesn’t have poor grammar, misspellings, badly constructed or awkward sentences, or typos. Regardless of how brilliant you may be, your work will hit the proverbial trash can faster than a speeding paper airplane if it’s sloppy.
