Rewriting is sometimes a simple matter of putting things into a logical perspective. The voice isn’t right, the plot wavers, the characters are magazine cut-outs, the message is garbled, or the style doesn’t mesh.

It might also be you started something. it’s all jumbled, and you don’t have time to fix it. Whatever the case, I’ll deliver it from its prison.
